2010 Career Day is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23rd at the Knoxville Expo Center.
The annual Knox County Schools Career Day will be held at the Knoxville Expo Center, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Employers from a wide variety of career areas will be on display throughout the exhibition hall. In addition, colleges and universities will be in attendance to showcase their programs.
The 2010 Career Day will be open to 8th grade students and their parents as part of the Schooled For Success program. We also welcome any high school students to attend during the event.
Employers who wish to showcase their company during the Career Day, may do so by contacting Scott Bacon at the Knox County Schools Public Affairs Office, 594-1909. Come join us for a fun, hands-on evening of career exploration on February 23rd.

Schooled For Success is the district’s career program for all 4,000 eighth-grade students and for high school students. This program includes an in-school portfolio, community wide career fair, electronic self-assessment and summer internships. Area businesses can participate by sharing information at the career fair and by hosting students for a two-day internship in late May after the school year has ended.
